Not getting into forum

Hello I am new here, my phone is a bell phone but with my phone I cannot sign into the forum page, it times out every time. Is there a reason for this? It is only this website that it happens to.

I've been having these time out issues intermittently using Chrome on Android. I'll try Brave and report back.

Using an lg g6 with bell mobility and the latest version of google. Thought it had to do with my phone as thats what bell said. Went into bell and uaed my phone infront if them and it wouldn't sign in. Then to show them it wasn't my phone, used the wifi from the mall that bell store is in and it signed me in to the forum right away. Still used google from my phone which is strange. Bell and no one can figure it out.

Tried the brave browser and with that it times out and wont even go to the website. At least normally it goes to the website but times out when clicking on forum or anything. Why is your website set up like this. This is the obly website I want to use and can't even use it. Only time it works is if the phone is taken off data and Wi-Fi is used where WiFi is. Then my wife who is with koodo it works fine on her phone. Bell is supposed to be the best network in Canada. Just want to get onto the nexus, any way this can be fixed?

How did you post this if you can not sign in?

I can only sign into the forum and no other part of nexus. Every device I have tried. I assumed this was because as a new member I don't have sign in rights.

If you read my posts, you woukd see that only way to sign in ia if going somewhere that has Wi-Fi. Maybe you didn't read my posts. Like right now using wifi at the mall to sign in.

I have this same problem... I just always just assumed WiFi was required to access the nexus. Hopefully y’all figure it out. I’d love to be able to get in without needing WiFi :thumb_up: :thumb_up: :thumb_up:

Ok, I tried Brave browser (besides Chrome) and I'm still having this issue.

Phone details: Moto G7 power, Android version 9.

If it works on wifi but not mobile, it sounds to me like your mobile provider is probably blocking the site.

You should try entering https://46.105.136.217 instead of Welcome to the DMT-Nexus.

If that worked, your mobile ISP's DNS server refuses to resolve dmt-nexus.me for some reason.

You can probably change the DNS server on your phone. I like to use opendns servers (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220).

Thanks, direct IP doesn't work. That idea also came up on chat before and we tried it.

When this started sometimes I could get into the Nexus without WiFi. I don't think it's a hard block.

Nexus chat and wiki have no issues over cellular data by the way.

I changed cell phone providers and the site now works on cellular data.
