Take DMT in the dark..then it does not matter. Closed eyes or open it wont make a difference if the room is pitch black.

Yeah I can actually recommend this, I used to do smoke mostly like this. These days I feel like one candle is the best light.

Yeah a candle is a great addition to a darkened room, it provides a warm light and also adds a whole new dimension to things with the flickering beams of light. I have had many beautiful and quite moving moments with a candle

I've tried DMT in the pitch black once (during a blackout!) and it was indeed the case that eyes open or closed, I was seeing the same exact things. It was an interesting (and creepy) experience. I could hear entities with their rhythmic telepathy all abound. Definitely not my favorite way to smoke spice, but not against trying it again some time.
