Synthetic vs plant-extracted - can you feel the difference?

Just curious. Questioning the last batch of the freebase I received - had my first session with it and it felt - weird. Definitely broken through, can't remember a thing (as usual) other than it was very grotesquely - anime like. I do - however - clearly remember the main thought I was having during the experience: "wth is this artificial crap???!!!"

The simple answer is to extract it yourself. It would leave you without any doubts. But you know that yourself. No one can say what you have.
Most people here do their own extraction, and some engage in oral use like myself. Just invest a bit of time and you will be glad you did. It is not rocket science, really.
You will have plenty of support from senior members if you approach it that way. Nexus is all about harm reduction and the proper use of these medicines.

I tried oral synthetic once years ago. Besides the consequences of the low amount of harmalas due to my inexperience back then, it felt the same as what I extract nowadays. Brews and full spectrum extractions do feel very different, but that's a different matter.

When I mean difference i mean, do you feel more deeply connected to nature or beings, maybe having a more natural feeling experience? Which do you prefer

Might be worth a follow up. The spice in question that triggered this topic - I've been slowly making my way through it since and by now - I'm having hard time distinguishing it from the one I was sourcing initially. Highly doubt it was synth.

What I did notice however - is the batch to batch differences regardless of the source and any first trip on a fresh batch might feel odd... It's ok.
