I'd say I am pretty sensitive then. If my mimosa has 1% DMT in it, i'd notice it at 5 mg. Yay! I run cheap! :d

No, I did not. Mainly because I have never extracted DMT and not sure which to vote on. I guess I could vote on the 10-24 mg...69ron said:Did you vote in the poll?
SWIM can feel 10 mg orally (it's stimulating, but not a psychedelic dose), but needs 20 mg for mild visual effects. Looks like SWIM and you are close to the same ballpark figures...the lucky minority
One reason is that MHRB is rich in alkaloids! People usually extract with naphtha and get a 0.5-1%, but this is not good as a surrogate for estimating the strength of mimosa. Other people extract with xylene/tolueene/dcm and get up to 2% active alkaloids, so one may claim immediately that 10g of MHRB contain 200mg of actives, already a very strong dose for the majority.polytrip said:what could the explanation be for the difference between DMT in ayahuasca and pure DMT? I have never heard of anybody who needs 100 grams of chacruna or 20 grams of mimosa to have visual and psychedelic effects but there are numerous people who need over 100 mg of pure free-base DMT for this, if taken orally.
Mayas powdered mimosa(14) is really strong, so I guess it could have more than 1% dmt in it. Anyone extracted dmt from this source?
