orange oil tek question

I'm doing orange oil tek on san pedro and just wondering if its normal for vinegar pulls to still have slight orange smell. I separated very well but still cant shake the smell of orange, its like 80/20 (vinegar/orange) smell but visibly limonene free. anyone know whats up?

I'm on my 3rd pull. The liquid is almost clear but has a slight yellow tint. I think ill be lucky to get a gram from this 100g, but hoping for the best still.

Yes it will smell of oranges. Even the crystal will smell of oranges. If you keep it long enough the stuff develops caraway and mint notes as the limonene oxidises to carvone.

thanks a bunch! exactly what I needed to know. judging by the color of the vinegar I don't think I'm going to get that big of a yield unless its normal for it to be fairly clear. if that's the case it should be rather light/nearly white. It just doesn't seem right. ill update this post once vinegar is totally dried and I know whats up. Everything was done perfect. I do have a suspicion that 50/100 grams of pedro I used was fairly weak. As said before, still hoping for the best though

My yeild from dried 95g deskinned, de-cored, de-spined pedro/bridgesii/Peruvian mixture was 974mg waxy mescaline acetate. If cleaned with MEK ide suspect around 320mg pure mescaline.
