"Organic" or organic-chemistry..? "Organic" as in 'safe..?! I am so fed up with that word !. ok .. not meaning to sound off with an uppity attitude - but the word "organic" does not apply here... Although I am all for 'safe' procedures etc ... The more I hear it, used so loosely to sell anything, and how the word "organic" makes folks assume there is some greater degree of safety, I want to eliminate the use of the word ! ! It has NO meaning here in the context of doing a crude alkaloid extraction from plant matter.. !~ What part of any tek is "unnatural": science is unnatural..? NaOh exists .. isn't it natural too.?... ? Acetic acid (vinegar) is no less naural than HCl (stomach acids)...!? All the blind assumptions of 'safety' that the OMRI-organic labelling makes people believe ! I know for a fact that companies lie to get OMRI-registered products - These days it's total BS to say "organically grown" even, unless you grew it yourself ! Maybe we could think of the environmental impact of doing MHRB extractions..? Or how to grow Mimosa hostilis trees "organically" without the use of pesticides and chemicals..?. But Mr-Shrooms - your use of "organic" might mean a 'safe' method, using safe chemicals .>!? Although we are conducting 'organic chemistry' here, the term "organic" as in OMRI approved, means ziltch. Mr Shrooms - Not like I think you are up to any extractions, but you ought to read up and understand exactly what each reagent, step and material does to make the product 'safe' and sound for human consumption. And this has nothing to do with "organic" methods, just pure knowledge and understanding on what needs to be done to make, pure, safe dmt-freebase...
