no one mentioned the machine?

easy as hell to make, and it hits BEAUTIFULLY.

buy a single serving "airline" bottle size hennesy.

take an awl, glass drill, or (in SWIMs case) a large nail, and pop out the bottom at the weak spot. the weak spot is why you need a hennesy bottle.

then take heavy duty coarse steel wool. not like brillo. more like chore boy. it looks like this:

quickly burn the S.W. to burn off any chems that may or may not have been on it from packaging.

take the S.W. and cram into the neck of the bottle so that it leaves room at the lip.

tadaa. it's are done. now scoop what SWIY wants onto the S.W. and heat it just enough to melt the spice into the S.W. coils.

now it's loaded. SWIY can screw the cap back on if you want to smoke it later.

or they can smoke it now by pulling from the hole in the bottom and holding the lighter near the neck of the (unscrewed) bottle to vaporize and take a nice big pillowy hit.

you can search around if that explaination didn't quite make sense. "the machine" is found all throughout the intrawebs.

side not: i know it's an old post, but i figured it could still be a question for the OP.
 
i use a machine as well
750 mil bottle
clean every 5 to 6 times for taste (hot water bath for bottle and mesh )
some times its more like cool water vaper
this is a new module i made a bit back
i put a carb in it to get the last bit out

Yes "The Machine" is good but I use a modified version of "The Machine"; which uses a regular large bowled bubbler/herb waterpipe (one that holds at least a gram [big]) and pack the steel wool in there tightly. So that it doesn't fall out when you turn it upside down. Without the water in it mind you.

Make sure you leave a little indentation or a little short wall in the bubbler's bowl to keep the DMT crystals before melting them. I think it was The Shroomery or possibly Mycoptia Forums where this was first posted as a "modified the machine."

After much searching I've found many links testifying to how great "The Machine" is but this is the original

ya its oil and vin bottles
it was very easy to make
just used a drill and slowly made holes that matched up
glued them together using clear caulk
let sit
one hit and thats all you need

Oh, in addition, do you know how pure alcohol kind of has a burning, astringent effect on your sinuses if you were to inhale it's vapors directly? Imagine that all the way down your throat & in your lungs. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, which, also, offers no apparent benefit over standard H2O.

Sadly, it happened to me once before. But not with spice, it was with a nice bowl of cannabis inside of a little bubbler. But that bubbler had about two double shots of pure grain vodka inside. Needless to say I was already drunk, sucked embers through the slider, into the chamber and it did happen to ignite. It didn't blow up but it was enough to burn some eyelashes off. :surprised
