Over basified

Hey nexus,
I started a lazy men tek and I doubled my lye ration by 30g extra accidentally which I feel stupid. Will this cause problem for getting a good result?

My uneducated guess is that since you are trying to achieve a pH at the top of the alkaline scale, you can't "overbasify". However, you may have too much lye to dissolve, and may want to look at clean up steps as in a mini-A/B once you have collected your yield.

I think the TEK should still work. So you have a 20% lye solution now? Just be extra careful with the water because of the high NaOH concentration.

I will proceed with the tek since it is not a waste. Thank got I don’t have to throw it away. I have not done a/b cleaning yet I need to.i been collecting it just smoking it. Usually I never mess with water or add anything after I put everything together.
This is off topic if I was to do the lazy man tek for 5 meo dmt would the procedure be the same?
