I have yet to come across a method of converting all the dmt n-oxide in MHRB > NN dmt before extraction. Any idea on how to do this? Would zinc work?
 
I ran across a posting saying that you could do it in the middle of an A/B. My gerbil, Bonzo has zinc and filters but was a little freaked out at all the warning labels on the zinc when it arrived.... he hasn't tried it yet. From my research into the matter, It appears that you must expose the oxide to the zinc to get the conversion to take place, I wouldn't think it was possible to do it to still inside the bark. If thats what you meant.
 
IIRC you add zinc while doing the first acid extraction. This converts the n-oxide to the regular n,n-.I think 69ron had a post on this.
