I ran into a few Shulgin Foundation videos a few weeks ago and listened through them while working. All three include Paul Daley who covers some chemistry from Shulgin's lab.
I think a third part is planned for this year of the Psychedelic Chemistry videos which I don't believe is out yet.
Didn't see them linked here yet so maybe someone will find them interesting here as well.
For those interested in mescaline I would recommend watching the Separation, Purification and Analysis of Psychoactive Substances with Dr. Paul Daley video starting at about 38 minutes. Of course the first thirty eight minutes is interesting listen as well. It includes an overview of acid base polarity by pH which is essential in all the teks here on the Nexus. It then goes into a qualitative mescaline process they are using with GCMS and then talks about CIELO but doesn't delve into the citric vs fumaric adjustments made.
One gem that stood out was the hypothesis that the way the cactus is dried has a measurable impact. Sounds like initial findings is quite drastic but still being tested.

The applications and utility of a freeze dryer sounds quite interesting so I hope they keep being better and more affordable overall. We have also found recently that the way that the plant material is dried has a surprisingly large effect on yield. Using the methanol extraction acid base cleanup we've scanned so far these five varieties and found a 69-120% difference in yield just based purely upon the method of drying the plant material. With freeze-dried plant material yielding quite a lot larger amount of materials then air dried or fruit dryer dried material.
