personal cataclysm

Migrated topic.

Spock's Brain

Rising Star
I just went thru what I could only describe as a "personal cataclysm" ... cascade melting of all systems into and thru sublayers of my own personal organic structures...enfolding my consciensness repeatedly into itself, being pushed wave after wave out of space and time, scattering, enveloping, while totally aware and cogniscent. absolute emergency, like when is this going to end? trying to back away from it and "retreat" back to normal, but completely overpowered. not fun, perhaps revealing.. of?

Maybe... an old batch of dmt ... oxidized..? but it sounded colourful still - I think the black-white space or 'nobody's home in hyperspace' feeling is from old dmt.

Maybe... you had a different set of 5HT receptors up and running - it was day time, instead of night time..? I have this idea that we cycle 5HT receptors all day long through out our body, making different amounts of the 7 or so types of 5HT receptors known.

Maybe .. the MAO enzymes in your body, and your MAOI levels were up to something strange, working around your 'crop' of fresh 5HT receptors..? (maois are always present in our bodies (eat bacon ..?), and possibly even in the MHRB extracts we prepare...)

Maybe... the dmt got burnt abit ? - the left-overs-in-the- bowl effect can be surprisingly strong, and harsh feeling if you clench in response to the uber-rush.?

Maybe you were thrown into a traffic-jam in hyperspace ... ask to be parked in a playground next time !

All i know that if i try to fight whenever I'm in the grips of it (whatever psychedelic),it's never a fun experience.

So,if someone were to keep some spice in vile in the freezer for a while, it will cause the dmt to take on a different type of effect? I could understand mabey losing some potency over time but to give the experience a different feel or aura? Does oxidation alter the mood of the molecule?

Sounds more to me like your gaining confidence in the spice and are starting to push the limits. There comes a point when getting more in dosn't make for a better experiance.

I melted some spice into my glass pipe, and then let it re-crystalize. The next day I melted some more on top of it, and then again let it re-crystalize. I sat down with my pipe but decided I was too tired so I lay on the floor and took a nap for like 2 hours. After that I awoke and took the pipe and hit it. I took one light hit, carefully heating it. After about 10 seconds I was feeling it but I was still definately in this world. Then I took a second hit and let'er rip. I could feel the heavy smoke, by then the world was starting to fade. The last thing I remember was setting down the pipe and holding the smoke in deeply, and leaning back towards the floor. And then the next thing I know, before I even got fully reclined, I was knocked out of space and time, I couldn't remember at all who I was or what I had done, but I was freakin' as described above.

the left-over-spice in the bowl theory then holds some water ... Melting it is a way of concentrating the dose, if it wasn't also burning it a bit.

But same surprisingly fast anihilation, the straight to the White Light, happens to me sometimes on 'burnt' or melted left overs, that are topped up with fresh spice.
