I do not see that much info on phenibut here, so I thought it would be interresting to share my latest experience with it.

I first tried very slowly with 500 mg. A mild relaxing effect was felt, nothing special the next day.

So I thought, ok, let's go for 1g. It is still a very low amount from what I read, it seems that the standard dose is 2-2.5
Hopefully I did no took 2.5... !

So after 1 hour, the mild relaxing effect. So far so good. I slept well for 6 hours, then I felt that it was STARTING to kick in !
8 hours (at least) after ingestion, I had this strong tinitus and a "heavy helmet" felling. An urge to sleep that I could not fight and a weakness in the whole body, especially arms and legs. This was uncomfortable because there was that sleep vibration without any sedating, nor relaxing effect.
I was anxious and sleepy at the same time. So I slept two more hours and fighted to wake up and rushed on a huge amount of coca. The strange sleepy feeling lasted for several hours (around 16-18 hours).

So, phenibut (its a GABA precusor) is quite efficient but not relaxing like a benzo.
Better anticipate long lasting effects and a big delay between ingestion and full effects (say 6-8 hours). Overdose might be very unpleasant if not dangerous.
 
Interesting Garulfo. I've taken between 1 and 2 grams of it several times, with little to no effect at all, so I gave up on it. I heard it can help with anxiety, but nothing for me. It's actually used (or has been used) in Russia as a prescription anxiety drug. It's one of the only GABA precursors that I know of that actually crosses the BBB. It's crazy how differently it appears to affect people.

I take a shot of about 1.7 grams Phenibut and 1 gram of PEA, if i remember correctly, before work sometimes which is a very nice combo. The phenibut kicks in when the PEA comes down. Very pleasant. Makes me Alert, agreeable, and sociable. I work more efficiently and don't feel so down about it.

Do you notice the long delay in onset that Garulfo experiences? I've read about a lot of people not feeling it's effects for several hours, and others who notice it w/in 30min to 1hr, and everywhere in between. I have noticed that it tends to make me a bit more chatty than usual, but nothing much more, and I really have never been sure if that was just placebo effect.
 
My advice is to throw that shit out like I did.

I may have taken too much but pleasant effects led to near hypothermic feeling, shaking, blackout conditions and the next morning I had muscle twitches - mainly in my legs - that have persisted to this day.

It's not worth it guys. Stick to stuff that's not only widely used in Russia. There's probably a good reason that's the case.

oh dah? schtua eta? ( oh yea? whats this? )

id really like to know.. what makes russia different?
besides people huff paint in the usa.. i dont put anything past unenlightened individuals but what can you do..
but once again what does location have to do with it.. theres smart and dumb people everywhere like for example alabama, im just saying..
 
I have used Phenibut with good results , Mix 1 tsp in a half glass of OJ . You do not want to use this stuff more then a couple days in a row or so .

No offense but Russia doesn't have the best medical infrastructure.

It's hard to explain but why would an strange anxiolytic type drug only be widely used in one country that seems to be behind the curve in certain areas?

Are you Russian? Do you take phenibut?

I might be from Alabama but I've never huffed paint nor do I have the desire to do so.

I just wish there was more info regarding phenibut - most of it online is in Russian - and those that sell it don't have a clue about it either.

I've experienced nearly 2 years worth of negative side effects from one night with phenibut. Just thought I would give an opposing argument regarding this substance that nobody knows shit about.
