Planning on doing first extraction with vinegar/lime tek. A few ?s

My first and foremost question is that when he says 'If in a hurry this step can be done within 10-15 minutes of the lime being added and will likely get 20-30% of the DMT' right before that he says 'it should only take a 2-5 hours for 99% the alkaloids to freebase. ' So basically i won't have to wait 2 - 5 hours? I kinda am in a hurry. And can someone please elaborate on freeze precipitation process? I kind of don't understand it.

I just am a little confused as to what to do after i stick it in the freezer. I think it mentioned grabbing the crystals with a playing card? Do the crystals form at the top of on the sides or the bottom or what? ANd also i'm evapping the naphtha i found in my house and if it doesnt turn out to be clean is there any specific brand recommended that is easily found? I can't wait to smoke dmt for the first time i'm honestly quite excited :d

I was just thinking of using some widemouthed clear glass container that has a good amount of surface area. I'm sure i'll find one somewhere, or at least something close to it.

No, but it doesn't feel good when you breathe it into your nostrils!

The worst part about extractions for me is the first part of grinding up material and adding lime. For some reason, it always gets into the air and irritates the hell out of my nose and throat. Wearing a simple sanding face mask may alleviate this somewhat.

Thanks guys but i couldn't really find the right kind of lime in my local stores but i happened to run into some roebic lye so i will be purchasing that. I will do nature boy's tek from the shroomery.

Googled and of the first few results was 'Wally World Auto Brokers Inc'. that doesn't really sound like where you'd find pickling lime unless it had some sort of use for cars. I'm clueless with cars so I don't know. But is that what your talking about?

Not trying to be rude, but if you don't understand the freeze precipitation process you probably haven't read enough about this process to be attempting an extraction yet. This is not something to be jumping into if you don't understand what you are doing.

Personally, I don't think you should attempt to extract DMT even if you just know what steps you are "supposed" to do by reading instructions, try to read enough to have a general idea of what the steps are actually doing chemistry wise.

You should also not rush through this process. If you have to rush through it, ESPECIALLY your first time, do it another day. DMT will always be there and this whole venture should be treated with respect. Rushing through it has absolutely no benefits.

Please spend a bit more time familiarizing yourself with this process.

If you have a specific question people would be glad to help you, but if you don't understand the general concepts of the extraction arming yourself with knowledge by reading more on this site is your best bet.
