Plants in this apartment?

Migrated topic.

I wonder if it even makes sense for me to have any plants in this apartment.

Humidity (rH) is at < 30% for weeks and seldom above 40%
I had 2-3 plants in here so far, and they all seem to dry out quickly, like they are destined to with this dry air?
Maybe cacti would be more ideal? or somehow i get more shade/humidity ...
It does not seem great for me either, dry skin, eyes, throat etc.

Sounds like you ought to consider using a humidifier of some kind.

Cacti would indeed be a better bet, although plants won't dry out if you water them every day 😉

Of course, having more plants would mean higher humidity in your home too.

If you decide to grow something with higher humidity requirements, a humidity tent - maybe one of those cheap plastic mini greenhouses - would be the way to go.
