A desk was the first thing i put in my place once i got it last spring. I've not been as busy with the creating as I'd like since-depression is a load of turds- but this is the first thing I've (pretty much) finished. It's 'cascadia mycovenator' or PNW mushroom hunter featuring a banana slug and some ps cyanescens showing some typical habitat. 10"x 17", pencil, India ink, acrylic, watercolor, ink, copic on hot press board. I had a lot of fun doing this.
I think the top arch may eventually get filled with more verbage or some graphic device like stars or rainbows.
Hope y'all enjoy, it's been a long time since I've been able to produce anything, not since I've been here anyway.
It's as done as its gonna get for now. There's other projects pulling me-yay!
Threw in a pic of my desk too because I'm kinda proud of it. It's made from an old window suspended from the wall with drywall anchors, a piece of wood acting as a bracket and cord. I like this because 1) it's free, and 2) it acts as a light table if needed, 3) i can change the angle, and 4) glass is a great drawing surface.
