I was out of town and it overgrew a little and puffed up a bit at the bottom, but I like the white/golden/purple and sometimes blue colors dancing together.

these are designs made by beetles in the space between bark and trunk of trees. the mothers lay eggs along the vertical main chamber. when the eggs hatch, the babies carve the radial paths as they exit to begin their lives. i collect these and use them in art projects. amazing how the designs themselves often resemble insects.

This is my walking staff, designed by beetles... Found it in a park.
