powdered vs whole root?

Hi guys,
I was about to make a purchase for MHRB(for my first extraction! Excited) and I couldn't find any bark but I found the powdered form. Is the powdered form much better than the root for extraction? I am going to use lazyman's tek. Also what kinda of yield should I be expecting from 1KG of powdered bark? How much should I start with for extraction process? Should I do the whole 1kG or do in smaller quantities?

powdered has more surface area for extraction so its always gonna be better than crumbled bark.

expect around 1%.

smaller extractions work better imo.

There was a thread about this exact topic on this section perhaps a week ago. Use the search function, it works (sometimes...).

Powdered is fine. Looks a bit more suspicious. I get around 1% usually. I agree with psyren that smaller 50-150gram extractions are the most efficient.
