Is it the same format? If it doesn't let you, you can always change the extension to ".txt". Most players should be able to handle it anyways, and if not you can just tell us what to rename it to.

I think SoundCloud is a good idea and would reach more people.
I’d also listen to it there, since I’m usually very cautious about downloading or opening content from the internet, regardless of who or where it’s from.
