Pressing DMT into bars

just thought i'd throw this out here seeing as i have not seen a post about pressing dmt

the people who smoke spice in my area pres their crystals into a bar this seems to prevent some oxydation and makes it a lot easier to work with either for weighing, desolving or smoking in crystal form

1. get a piece of aluminum pipe stock with a 10mm inner diameter usually sold in 24 inch legnths
not sure where to get it commonly but i buy mine at the model airplane shop here in town and its sold for people who fly model helicopters used in the tail assembly of some models - probly easy to find online somewhere

2 get a piece of 9mm solid aluminum rod
again i buy mine from the same rack the pipe is in - and this im sure is also easy to find

3. cut about a 5 inch piece of pipe and a 6 inch piece of rod

4 place the pipe edge up on a hard surface that you can pound on

5. place spice crystals inside the pipe then the rod inside the pipe on top of the crystals

6. tap on the rod with a small hgammer to pack the spice into a solid block

7. lift up the pipe and press the bar of spice out of the pipe with the rod

sometimes warming the pipe with your hands for a minute or two before pressing will provide a better result
if your having problems getting the lump of spice out of the pipe put a towel in the dryer for about 5 minutes and wrap that around the pipe - it will soften the spice just enough to push it out

this is nice when smoking straight spice because you can just cut off your dose of spice from the bar and its aloways the same ammount as long as you cut the same length piece off each time

This is a cool idea, it's like DMT hash, it seems like it would be kinda crumbly, though, unless you added some heat. Someone could try pressing some premeasured DMT "microdots" maybe around 20mg a piece? if they don't stick together too much a little bag of those would be convenient.

never thought of that but it would be nice to just be able to grab 1 or 2 lumps insted of having to cut it each time - and yes when you take it out of the freezer it does become tacky so they would need to be coated in some kind of a powder to prevent them from sticking together and creating one large blob and you would need an accurate way to create pelets exactly the right size each time may prove to be more trouble than its worth if you was doing a few grams worth of pellets at 20mg each

Sorry to but in here but how might you crystallize it all into one? I'm about to do an extraction in the next coming week or so, and this would be pretty cool..

lots of spice crystals, when you want to do it, simply take all of your spice and dissolve it in warm naphtha, then put it in a small glass, wine glass is what i used, and you pour your naphtha in it and throw that in the dark until its all evaporated, then you will be left with a beautiful crystal.

Also you do not need to use a wine glass experiment with different types, you will get different kinds of crystals. good luck

I remember the time it was en vogue to melt the crystals down, because they were supposed to be "stronger" this way
