problems after vaping spice

it started after swim had been exsperimenting for a while.swim had been respectful and careful with the molecule.swim didnt see it at first.it was full spectrum jimjam at first.then swim got a GVG and had been doing spice.he started seeing things out the side of his eye all the time like theres some one there and being a bit jumpy but theres no one there,also hes been having problems thinking and remebering peoples names and struggling to remember what hes doing some times.he dosnt smoke weed,he used to about 5 years ago.but hes notice after just one vape of spice he gets short term memory loss just like what you get from weed,also he carnt sleep properly to like its light sleep and then hes tiered and moody also when i gets up for the loo in the night and gose back to bed his eyes go funny like the light is still in them even though its been turned off.so he had a break but hes very interested and it keeps calling him recently hes had it a couple of times.he dose suffer from depression and its always worse at this time of year.but he had 2 trys recently and every thing has got very hard like depression and feeling very different and bad memory and moody.it dose gradualy get better after a long break but when he trys again it all comes back again and it takes months to subside.hes worryed it could be the naptha he uses newport lighter fluid it dose leave a slight residue but it dosent tast of any thing he thought it might be just dirty water residue and it was the best naptha he could find and heard others saying it was ok.hes looked and looked for other peoples reports to see if any one else has this problem.he wants to use or work with the molecule for healing and dosent want to stop.dose any one have any suggestions.thanks in advance

If it leaves a residue then you shouldn't use it.

I suggest to slow down with smoking spice if you constantly have bad reactions to it.
It is a very powerful psychedelic, so its much more likely that DMT is responsible for your reactions then the Naphta. The Naptha, if it really has residue is what I believe, more likely to cause short-term uncomfortable physical reactions, then long-term psychic ones(but also possible long term negative physical reactions if you use it more often). But yes you probably still would be better of not smoking anything with residue.

If DMT doesnt work for you in a good way at the moment, maybe try some other psychedelic substance, but inform your self well about it before, and be conscious about set and setting. Espescially if you want to use it for healing, and have some serious problems with depression, I cannot stress this fact enough. Be in a comfortable space before going in that kind of adventure.

I for myself can only say, that I also didn´t have alot of comfortable experiences with smoked DMT so far...
How ever with most psychedelic substances I used orally, mostly Mushrooms and LSD, I had a lot of very beneficial and life enhancing experiences.
For me it seems its the duration of the trip, that does the thing for me that im looking for.

On the other hand, if you want healing and transformation, maybe look into other things aswell.
Have you tried meditation or yoga(or some other mindful physical exercise), are you aware of the impact food can have on your mental health? Just some suggestions..
Sometimes some things need to be fixed before those powerful substances can fully do their work(alas thats my believe).

thank you for your help.yer i dont like the swim thing.i wasnt sure what to say so i said that.Maybe it will be better with harmalas maybe its the to much to quick thats doing it.hes tryed meditation Reik and all sorts.hes very sensitive and dosent want to give up on it.but he will be careful.thank you
