I am more disappointed by the lack of discussion of cultivation and the pseudo-information that gets spread around by people "identifying" san pedro cacti. I wish there was more scientific information about these plants so we could actually know something, but it's all mostly hearsay and conjecture.
The A. fissuratus and A. retusus are friggen amazing man, I really need to start getting these slower growing genus and moar globulars. The only things that flower for me right now have the daintiest little flowers and I want to start to get moar of a flower show like you
Here is my mammillaria nejapensis with its little flowers and this little guy that I left out when I brought everyone else in this year to hopefully flower since apparently its trying to from the cooler weather.
wow that Pachypodium is friggen boss lol I have a prolly 2 foot one with tons of branches and I cant imagine what that would look like after 16 years with as many branches it has already.
The bottom cactus is a Gymnocalycium baldianum I think because I got one at the very begining of spring that was flowering and the flowers and tucked in spines look spot on.
Here is the Pachypodium that I was saying I have right now, and I cant imagine all of those basal branch things growing to become like spanish's pachypodium.
I'm not quite sure how old it is because I picked it up from a home and garden store in August, but it has to have some years on it already or else its just an amazingly abundant grower.
