very freaky! what is that?
last time i had to spray i moved my grafts to a shade place for a week or so and used safer soap
but it is a little oily like and can harm some cacti in brighter conditions

A myrtillocalycium polyp chimera cactus and then an aztekium riterii. Both of them are grafted. Here is some info on chimeras.

hostilis, that is a awesome chimera you have there. I like the colours. Aztekium are very slow growers.. and rare!

I wonder if the chimera is a fast grower..

Hey DG and Hostillis. It has been a very long time since I posted here so I thought I would see if I still remembered my password. 😁

DG that is one cool green house you have got there. :) Is it for your cacti or are you growing something else as a commercial venture.

Cheers

Hey GOT,
its my partners greenhouse, and cacti is a secondary bonus.
It is getting better all the time, an amazing amount of work to create the perfect climate controlled 35x70' space :)

^cool tread, not as homosexual as it seems!

I figure it's about time to add a few of my cactus friends to this thread :)

Pic 1 - most of my loph's, some young tricho's, as well as a couple of older tricho specimens prior to repotting in the background.
Pic 2 & 3 - Young tricho's settling in to some new soil, and a couple of young Lophophora fricii in the corner.
Pic 4 - T. bridgesii fma. monstrose with some nice developing pups.
Pic 5 & 6 - Some of my older Lophophora williamsii specimens, and one Lophophora koehresii.
Pic 7 - Decipiens?, var. texana, small mature williamsii, and a couple of caespitose willy's.
Pic 8 - Lophophora williamsii, possibly a decipiens? Not sure at this point, but it is similar in appearance.
Pic 9 - Lophophora williamsii, unsure of the clone. Visually similar to the "Kikko" clone, but not a Kikko. An interesting specimen nonetheless
Pic 10 - Lophophora williamsii, "Kikko" clone.
Pic 11 - One of my most treasured specimens: Lophophora williamsii cristata, grafted onto Trichocereus bridgesii.

Will post a few pictures of my older trichocereus specimens some time soon! :)

HOLY SMOKES! Those are some GORGEOUS lophs.
Thanks! I live in a climate with long cold winters, so they are just awakening from their winter resting period. :)

Most of them are in the 4-6 cm diameter range, and the largest of the older specimens are around 7.5cm in diameter.

Eventually, I would like to stress a few of them for an extended period in order to increase alkaloid content, then utilize them in a ceremony. But it is difficult to bring myself to harvest such beautiful lifeforms!

Those are some beautiful-looking cacti, OneEye! What species are the seedlings?

They're a mix of Bridgesii and Peruvian torch. I've got another 600 seeds germinating. My first batch ended pretty badly when our heatwave hit- what you see are the few survivors :(

Those are some nice lophs Entheo. How old are they? Did you get them mature or have you been growing them out for a while? I feel very peaceful around living cacti.
