Rising Star
This is about the time I realized that the depths of psilocybin dosing are limitless. ( I know this is for DMT experiences, delete if necessary, I just thought I'd share)
There was no way I was about to try and cram down 15 grams of dried mushroom flesh, so I ground it up and mixed in some warm honey - which is a fantastic tek for making this process palatable, and down the hatch.
It was somewhere around the 4th heaping spoonful that I noticed myself beginning to gnaw on the spoon idly, and decided I should quickly finish off the last bits and lay down. I set my music, wrapped up in a big comforter and made myself comfortable for the oncoming ride.
The first waves were surprisingly gentle. Warm, white light surrounded me and comforted me, almost motherly. Very quickly, I felt all sense of my body begin to fade away. Starting from my tips of my toes, every molecule of my body slowly disintegrated to nothing as the white light grew to envelop me. As the last bits faded out - I was shot out my house, into the stars and all the way to the very end where I was a mere spec in a cosmic soup of other souls in wait. I thought, "So this is where we go when we die", and it was a comfortable thought. I had no memories, no identity, no emotion. I floated along this cosmic lazy river for quite some time, adjusting to my new place in the cosmos until..
I was suddenly dragged out of my ego-less vacation to come face to face with what I've taken to calling the Machine at the End of Time. An immeasurably colossal bio-mechanical eye, I can still vividly remember every shifting and rotating panel, door and plate. Ever moving except for the darker than black pit at its center. It was then it started speaking to me by flashing images into my head - monoliths, symbols, people, places. It was like a massive instant download of information direct from the source.
Then, a simple statement, "Now you know. It's time for you to return."
As though I were tethered - I was dragged out of the void, through hyperspace, back to my body where I was sitting opposite a madly grinning bear shaman holding a staff with a skull adorned atop, a bonfire between us. There we sat, silently staring until I drifted back into a conscious state.
Hope you enjoy.
