Psilocybe Cubensis "Albino Penis Envy" + "ZA Albino Penis Envy".

ZA Transkei X'd with APE so this X was named ZAPE by a colleague.

1. 75% horse poo, 25% coir used as a base substrate

2. 12-15% CaSO4·2H2O (of which contains 5% algae) added.

3. 35-40% perlite incorporated to fluff up/lighten the mixture

4. Hydrated to field capacity and loaded to 3 9litre jars, pasteurized @ 160f for 6-10 hours (this is way too long but worked, normal pasteurization is 1hr between 140F-160F)

5. 9 Litres of substrate spawned with 4x 3/4 full 750ml jars of fully colonized spawn. Black plastic trash bags used for colonization, one underneath, one ontop with 4-5 holes in it 4-5mm in diamter for some FAE

Substrate was 98% colonized in 9 days.

6. cased with Peat/Perlite casing

7. Plastic bag put back on and left for 3days for penetration,

8. Once good penetration of the casing was noted as shown below, the tub was birthed/fruited. Saran Wrap all around and over the top, and one hole punched into saran wrap on each side for FAE.

Unfortunately I do not have pictures of Pin formation, but the pins took about 3 days from birthing to form, then another 2-3 days to mature. Room temps around 24-25C, small PC fan in room blowing.

Stares, The ZAPE images are of mature fruits that were harvested right after the photo was taken.

The APE pics with the black mono background are all ready to harvest, there are however two pics higher up showing pins that were left for a few more days..

yummy! How do you feel about the effects of the APE strain? I've tried the PE-uncut mushies which were very head strong but thats about it. Not much of a body buzz and too much of that ''self reflection'' phase but they sure knew how to toss me into that hyper head space dimention as soon as my head hit my pillow. Also it's the first strain that I was actually able to ''talk'' to and get responses.

I've had really amazing experiences with APE and ZAPE. Absolutely stunning visuals with .8g-1.3g APE, lower body load compared to normal cubes, but always self reflection and deep thoughts about life with Entity realization 15-20minutes into ingestion.

I always meet Entities or am aware of their presence on MU.
