Psybreaks, anyone?

riding a bike with a little smack of the dimethyl cart buddy & this music is some peak living, just a little one though... ideally sunny, wearing sunglasses, with a nice breeze & a tank top

I hope your bike has a good set of speakers so everyone gets to enjoy it! Riding a bike while wearing headphones is something I'd avoid for safety reasons. But thanks for reminding me of a lovely very lightly psilocybin-tinged pushbike ride I once had, many, many moons ago.

Of course, we all know that operating any vehicle while under the influence is right off the cards 🧐
Maybe playing Psybreaks out of a large soundsystem could serve as the official warning system for this situation, though  🛑

Sounds pretty good ! Even though it's not the Music i'm into but i enjoy plenty of different genres and this is definitely inspired !
Great Mix and Vid too !
Glad to hear it - the diversity in this mix really sets it apart, making it a whole lot more listenable than some of the relentless, four-to-the-floor stuff.

I'll talk to my city council about this, we need to make these silly dmt bike riding users aware of the havoc that they could reek when they AREN'T playing psybreaks on a boombox. 😡😠😕

Hell yeah.. many fond memories on the dancefloor with psybreaks. Thank you for the set 🙏

I'm gonna link a few .. NZ prog trance artist Grouch and UK psybreaks pioneer Hedflux did a great collab which IMO is one of the most solid breaks tunes I've heard.. Grouch is really I think one of the most solid and unique prog trance producers on the planet.. with a dark swampy style that compliments Hedflux's style beautifully.

Almost 16 years back I made a 'psybreaks' tune which I'm gonna shamelessly plug here.. I'd actually not heard of psybreaks back when I made it.. thinking I'd maybe pioneered a new style at the time. Turned out lots of people were already doing this.. its a bit slower than most psybreaks.. I'd love to get hold of the DAW session and redo it.

Lastly, a down tempo psybreaks tune from Hedflux.. this is a monster tune to break through to in the right setting. I remember being at a festival going deep on mimosa extract and emerging to this playing. It helped me to go supersayan in that paddock. Below:
