Hi all,

I offer to my friends pharma for free, I sit for them, instruct them, microdose with other plants... Ect.

Now I never charged, but I realized that it is draining,from extraction, sitting and feeling of responsibility.

Somebody told me that when a student goes to a guru they agree on exchange, this is called Dhiana and is important aspect of teaching.

I am thinking that it is important, yet I don't know exactly what, how.

Asking for money feel strange, but it starts to feel strange or even wrong on my side just to give molecules and myself for nothing.

I think that deep inside of me is the idea that we will become psychod- friends, which never happened.

Yet their life dramatically changed to better, and only one person thanked me.

I'd suggest if you are worrying about what you get out of it, that it may be a good idea to step back and re-examine your intentions.

If your friend's lives are better for having done the work with you, you couldn't really ask for a better payment. :thumb_up:

2 things:

1. Psychotherapists and shamans alike charge cold hard cash for their services.

2) Dhana is a term from both Buddhism (and I think Hinduism) wherein a local community feeds, clothes, and offers shelter or medicine to somebody who has dedicated their life to achieving enlightenment, so that they may then offer enlightenment to the community.

None of the above are trying to make friends. For the first group, it is a medical service, to the second group, a selfless religious act, where the only support they are receiving is so they do not die.

You are clearly not going to be receiving “dhana”, because presumably you have some means of feeding, clothing and sheltering yourself - you are not living purely off of donations for your spiritual service. That is dhana, not what you are talking about.

If you want to treat it like an illegal medical service, great, but please don’t expect this is going to make you some friends. That’s honestly just weird. “Hey man, I’ve got some drugs, wanna come get over your hangups and then we’ll be friends?”

Nope, doesn’t work like that, sorry. You want that, try going to a music festival and camping out with some people in a non-therapy context. Therapists aren’t your “friend”, and a therapist that would want that is an untrustworthy weirdo.

Your friends sound like a bunch of ingrates, however the good works you have done will ripple out in the world nonetheless.
