Psycho-Active Garden Ideas (Australia)

Migrated topic.

Rising Star
So I have recently acquired some pristine garden space which I am going to dedicate to legal Psycho-Active plants (Or something along those lines) So far I have considered

Damiana (Turnera diffusa)
Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) <-- In Water
Ayahuasca (Banisteriopsis caapi v. tucunaca)
Hawaian Baby Woodrose (Argyreia nervosa)

I was wondering if anyone has any experience growing these from seed/seedling. As well as this I am unsure about the legality of the Ayahuasca vine in Australia (VIC). I read it was a schedule 9 (same as cannabis) but I am unsure. I am open to other ideas of plants to plant. I have considered San Pedro ETC but I can just buy one and put it on a window-sill somewhere rather than properly grow from seed.
I am confident I can source all of the plants from the list either in seedling or seed.

So yeah any advice or suggestions are welcome!

Edit: Also curious what spices/strain/variation of Ayahuasca is best because there seem to be a few

Yes I've grown most of those things.
Get yourself some Psychotria variants and some Lions Tail and Mugwort as well. You can probably grow Acuminata there as well as some other region specific Acacias.
Passiflora incarnata is always a good one to have hand, as well as novo and mitragyna species if you can source them...
Don't forget your cacti too brother.

If you're at a loss for ideas take a cruise over to ShamanAustralis and Herbalistics. Before you know it you will have a full cart. 😉

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I will start small the expand Ill keep all of these in mind. I think Ive settled on BLue Lotus and Damiana for sure as well as a variant of Cappi, Psychotria if possible as well as Mugwort I like the suggestion of vivid lucid dreaming :) I will just see how I go growing them and using them then expand later on down the road.

Fantastic info many thanks!

Quick edit, out of these variants which would one/you recommend?:

Banisteriopsis Caapi V. Tucunaca
Banisteriopsis caapi v. caupuri

Unclear about the Psychotria V. This is another brew additive similar to Cappi? Except it may contain trace amounts of DMT...?

Psychotria viridis is also known as Chacruna. If harvested correctly contains %0.5-%2 dry weight (depending on cultivar) DMT.
Although it can take 3-4 years to mature it is very easy to cultivate and it's an ethical and sustainable way to acquire DMT alkaloids.

"Yellow" and "red" caapi variants are both suitable for novices. Tucunaca will be more suitable to Vic.

Read, read, read... all you need to know is here already.
