Hi,
I am travelling to Pucallpa in Peru on Wednesday and want to do an ayahuasca retreat or work with a shaman for 2 weeks. I have a couple of contacts for centres but have had no reply and was wondering if anyone could recommend someone that they have worked with? All the centres online are way out of my price range mostly looking for 100 dollars a day.
All the best,
Aaron

hi Aaron.

In San Francisco de Yarinacocha there's Elisa, there's Don Mateo, and a few more. In the other nearby villages are others too.. From what i remember the above stated charge like 150 soles per ceremony including basic bed and breakfast, of course price is negotiable for long stays. US $100 per day would probably be at the bigger centres away from San Francisco i assume.

You can always stay at a hostal or basic hotel and just do ceremonies only. Cost from 50 Soles, up. Ask around, plenty travellers in San Francisco.

hi,

i'm going to a place outside pucallpa, its actually a short boat-ride from honoria.

it won't be for several months though, not until i can save up enough money.

do you guys think i can find spiritual rebirth/healing and happiness and love and consciousness again, like i used to feel? This is the purpose of my journey. I don't want it to be too late for me! i want to reach love bliss peace and oneness the way i was born an intended to reach!

If you find the Yui family, stay with them.

I didn't stay with them in Pucallpa, but I met the grandfather and worked as a patient with his son (grandson)? ...The sweetest, most compassionate people you'll meet. And super duper legit. No dogma, just love.

I'm afraid that ayahuasca will either:

a) do something very bad to me, or

b) not do anything at all

I will be working and saving up money for a 3 month long trip to this place, the Santuario, so i really want to obtain results from this. I don't want to suffer forever. NO one suffers FOREVER. It just doesn't happen.

the thing is, a lot of these people are part catholic, or have catholic influences and i really can't stand that religion.

i wish i could feel like i used to feel, which was love 24 hours of the day, love and peace, and also happiness.

i feel like i ruined ALL my incarnations in just ONE incarnation. I went THAT FAR BACKWARDS.

i just don't know what to do anymore.

are you really ganesh?

i hope so, because if you are then you must have all the answers.

i have to be honest with you, i have turned into a ZOMBIE LITERALLY FROM DEADLY DRUGS and also witchcraft plants like TOE

i don't see how my soul, body, mind, and consciousness can be REDEEMED NOW, i feel like ITS TOO LATE

i would have to work a part-time job for 6 months in order to save up enough money to go, maybe if i commit to something like that then i will have the determination to go, if i get a job doing something not so hard which i can do.

i used so many bad drugs that i warped my sense of reality, my reality has become a living nightmare, and i don't know what i can do to escape it, i cannot escape it, i'm in the midst of hell ganesh.

i just wanted to reach the goal of life which was love peace bliss fearlessness samadhi nirvana cosmic consciousness infinite freedom

you say forget my past which i do not like. But you don't understand, i came from a sacred lineage and my past was GLORIOUS, BEFORE i fell by using substances. Substances lead to lying, lying lead to stealing, and it just got worse and worse and worse

i never grew up properly, i did not live the life i was intended to live ganesh. I was born a SEER, like the rishis from the vedas. Now i feel like i will never reach my birthright and divine destiny. I feel like i'm stuck full of spears literally.

i don't want to go to hell, but i'm already there

Wish I had been able to reply earlier.... Probably too late now...

I stayed at a place near Pucallpa called Santuario Huishtin - I really liked it there. Also a little cheaper at $70 a day (or cheaper for longer stays).

Completely family run - the maestro is assisted by his wife and his brother and nephew, and the wives of the brother and nephew run the rest of the center (like cooking and other things). Some nights it was just my wife and I with there family - they even had their little girl Mune in ceremony one night (she didnt drink, but just sat and listened to the songs - only 3 years old!).
