q21q21's tek - leave the dmt-acetate with the bark or siphon out?

I'd like some clarification on whether or not I'm doing this right.

Followed q21q21's tek except instead of waiting 20-40 mins for the acidifaction step, I waited (a couple days) until I had a nice vinegar/dmt-acetate layer on top of the MHRB.

Can I theoretically keep adding vinegar and siphon off the vinegar layer until there's little to no dmt left in the bark? How many pulls of the vinegar should one do in order for this to happen, 2, 3, or more? If all the dmt tannate molecules are now dmt acetate, can I then get rid of the bark and just add the lime to the liquid I siphoned off into another jar?

You need to follow the tek. I don't know of any STA (Straight To Acid) teks. Continue with the tek.

You are trying to do tek 2, correct? Fluffy white funfest? If you want acetates, get freebase first from freeze precipitation and then convert to acetate tincture after that.

I could be wrong.... but I doubt it.

Sorry for the confusion, yes it was tek 2. I should have made it clear I'm not doing it step by step, but modifying this slightly so it's just purely liquids involved, so I can get a better understanding of what's going on.

I don't want acetate as my end result, I was saying that I have the dmt-acetate/vinegar solution siphoned off.

After reading up more, I realized the answers to my questions on my first post was to just continue pouring new vinegar for a total of 3 times. Does this sound right after doing that?

1.) Siphon off vinegar solution
2.) Filter vinegar solution to get rid off excess particles
3.) NP wash of vinegar solution to get rid of unwanted impurities (DMT is still in salt form, and shouldn't dissolve in a NP solvent)
4.) Basify vinegar solution to turn DMT salts to freebase
5.) NP pull of freebase
6.) Freeze precip
7.) Fluffy white funfest
