q21q21's vinegar/lime a/b no lye help

questions I have and maybe can be clarified:

1. How much naphtha is used? I am trying an extract with 30g MHRB. so 60mL vinegar..and 15g Lime.
I dont want to drown the MHRB in naphtha.

2. 30 seconds seems REALLY short.. should it be at least a minute?

those are about it. any suggestions?

This is for 1lb of MHRB. does it matter the size, or should I just take the zer0s off and do 2-3 minutes since its such a huge gap in weight. just thinking... oh and he uses 400mL of naphtha, which sounds like a good amount for 454g.. should I do 20mL of naphtha since i have 30g of MHRB??

1: SWIM did an extraction with 30g for his first try and got a little over 250mg, he ended up using 20-30ml of naptha for each of the 4 pulls.
Though he was gauging the timing on this experiment so if a little more time was waited for the initial pull then 2-3 pulls of a similar amount would work. Using too little will risk a high proportion being lost in the goop.

2: SWIM just changed it, if read all the way through it actually says that 20 minutes per pull is what SWIM waits, the stirring only takes 30 seconds, ie: the bark need not be stirred for 20 minutes but left for 20 minutes while stirring 2-3 times over the 20 minutes.

What about the vinegar? Should I just pop by publix and pick up some white distilled vinegar?? it says distilled with water to 5%.. but thats the only vinegar besides balsamic vinagarette I know of.. besides like wine vinegar..

Learned from SWIM's first try at this tek: Keep the mixture warm, and even warm up the Naphtha before using it to pull.
(Warm it using a hot bath, not open flame, of course.)
