Question about cyb's Max Ion Tek (help much appreciated)

Hi, I'm following Cyb's Max Ion Tek to a t, and I'm in the "pulling" phase.
In their Tek, the authors write

9. Pull Solvent from the mix and store in jar.
Allow the solvent to cool to room temp then store in
fridge to aid in crystal forming.

10. Repeat Pulls x6 (with warm/hot NPS)
Combine the pulls with the NPS in the fridge .
11. When all done evaporate down the combined
NPS using a cool fan by around 40%, or until Milky.

12. Freeze total NPS in small Pyrex flat bottomed
dish with a lid or cover.

I'm storing my naphta in the jar, as the tek says. However, crystals are already forming and sticking to the bottom of my jar. If I were to just decant the contents into another dish, those crystals would still be there. What am I supposed to do with that situation?

By the way: Would it be possible to just use the jar (215 ml) to do the freeze precip? Why is a larger dish even suggested?

If you allow the jar containing the NPS warm up to room temp the crystals should dissolve, after which you can transfer to your evap/precipitation dish.

you can leave them in the jar or heat up the nps to dissolve them again. "why is another dish recommended" It's going to be a lot easier to collect your product from something like a pie dish rather than mason jar. Trust the tek the first few times you do it these people who made teks on here are REALLY SMART.
