if SWIM performed the vortex tek without initial defat and skipped a final acid to base defat or freeze precip after fan evap, would it make sense to wash the spice with ammonia at that point as in norman's tek? SWIM has never tried a quicktek like this before and would like the final product to be clean. thanks for your input.
