Question around non launch experience

Hello!
I’m pretty new and have a question. I’ve not gotten too far due to what I assume is not getting enough via vape, and I haven’t been able to go hyperspace.
That being said my experience has been fascinating so far. Ive had three truly fun experiences , all revolving around art and visuals.
The most interesting is when my painting came apart in three dimensions. Every color separated into its own layer outside the painting and , for lack of a better phrase, were modulating. Can someone tell me what I can search to find information on that kind of phenomenon ? How it helped my brain literally extract all the layers and put them in space. It was amazing.

Thanks.
EDIT: I now understand this to be a normal experience in how it ramps up, and kinda where this lands on the set of thresholds. I've got a long way to go even though its fascinating - thank you

I think it might be difficult to find reference to reports that match your specific experience. One place to search would be Erowid DMT Experience Vaults, but there are lots to trawl through.
The type of experience you describe makes sense given the spice is messing with the way your brain builds a picture of the world by assembling visual and other sensory inputs. So maybe not surprising that it seems to have taken the different colours and reimagined how they should be combined (or not).
Regarding the question of getting enough vape, do you know what concentration is your vape juice?

I know what he told me it was 1/1 ratio, but I'm also on a SSRI so I have to monitor myself and have a limited availability.
That being said, thank you for responding - yes it seems "normal experience" like you two have mentioned, I found a video on "The six levels of dmt" that explains the phases better to me.

sounds " normal" to me, what mg dose did you do?
I'm finding from reading and a video I just saw on the "six stages of dmt" that it is normal,,
1/1 in a vape as far as I understand it, but on a ssri so I can't seem to get enough to jump higher , at this time- Taking steps to expand it will just take time
Thanks for the reply,

Chances are this will greatly limit your experience due to downregulation of your serotonin receptors. SSRIs are well known for their trip-blunting effects.
Yeahhhh. I’m finding that. Can enough dose brute force it safely? I’m intending on changing my meds but I’m excited about it now. lol.

It depends on the specifics of your medication. You'd have to be sure you were using exclusively DMT and no harmala alkaloids until you're completely clear of SSRIs. As mentioned in that other thread, this process would take several weeks. If you remain on meds, you'd have to be sure that the dose/response curve doesn't have a threshold effect where the intensity suddenly ramps up with only a small increase in the dose. Unless, of course, that's what you're looking for - except the likelihood of that being the outcome is pretty low. It would be helpful to know some details about your medication for a chance of further clarification.

Most important is that you get proper medical advice before you make any decisions regarding your medication.

Right now 300mg fluvoxamine extended release at about 10am daily
And upon further consideration I don't want to push it until I'm off ssris,, I can get to a point where the world around me changes, I'm still concious and I shift into some kind of hyper focused presence and don't really want to move,, the world is fascinating like this,,, but that leaves me with a bit high blood pressure for a bit,
When it comes to potential seritonin syndrome I want to be careful as I don't have someone to hang out with me and the cat will just eat me instead of calling for help.

I don't think it's too unsafe to try higher doses up to a point, but I don't think anyone really knows. Unlike other psychedelics, DMT has some serotonin release effects (even if not strong), so the risk of serotonin syndrome is higher. And I think it's possible that, no matter the dose, there will be some aspects of the experience that will still be lessened. It's your call, but be very careful and honest to yourself about your motivations and the risks you're willing to undertake for them.

And there's an additional risk sometimes people forget about: that, being worried about it, you will think that you're having a medical issue when in fact you're not, and call for medical help. Depending on how it happens and where you are, this can be potentially very traumatic and expensive. It's better than the opposite (to have an actual issue and not call for help), but it being possible adds some more risk to the situation. Particularly when you don't have experience and can't tell apart "normal" difficult physical effects from an actual medical issue, something that is not always easy.
