Question-Cycling and keeping the bark warm

Migrated topic.

SWIM is doing the Q21 lime extraction tek. After the first pull, it is suggested that more pulls can be done over a day or two. However, it also says that the bark must be kept warm.
There is time for a pull, but must leave. Can the bark be reheated with a water bath again, and another pull done later? SEIM is a little unclear about this.

Ive never worked with that tek, but ive had my solution sit around for a few weeks and was still able to do more pulls from it. If you need to go and do something, and have to leave the solution for a while, then please report back with your findings.

Hope all goes well:)

So keeping the mixture warm during basification is more important than having it warm during the non-polar wash? Or is it OK to just reheat the mix before doing another wash?
Sorry for the questions, but SWIM is new at science experiments.

Hmmm, im not sure weather its more important to keep it warm during basification or non-polar wash, but I do know that you should do another hot water bath just before your next wash.

So just warm up the solution just before the next solvent wash and all should be fine.

I too am new at science experiments, so please excuse me for not having any solid evidence as to how things work, Im just taking here from my personal observations.
