Swim followed nomans tek. 100mg of MHRB. added 1 sc bath + 2 water baths. put in freezer for 72 hrs. in a glass bottom, plastic lid air tight container. after swim took them out, drained naptha, and could see tiny dots and small clumbs of a white substance that was sitting in trace element amounts of naptha... after 30 mins, it now looks like the white substance has changed temp? and disolved into naptha? swim cant see any white substance anymore. the plan to to leave it over the next couple of days and see whats left.

Sounds like it needs evaporating down before freezing so it becomes more saturated. The DMT is there if you're getting cloudiness, it's just not precipitating. Is the freezer set to the highest setting?
When you say you drained the naptha, if you meant coffee filters, filters are not needed.

Get it saturated and in the freezer. By now you could even do another pull from the base soup, then combine it with what you've already got trying to get to crash out. It will definitely need evaporating down then though, but it will make it more saturated with more DMT in there.

I had the same problem as you when I first did an extraction years ago, not letting it get saturated so it didn't precipitate

I would allow more time for the NaOH to do it's thing, put your soup in a warm water bath for at least 2hrs after you've added the NaOH. Also only use 20-25g for the basification. Adding 100ml of salt saturated solution before pulling can help the dmt migrate into the naphtha. You may need to add more water to make the soup runny enough that the naphtha can pass through it smoothly and collect the dmt. Add more NaOH if necessary. When mixing the 2 layers, slowly turn the container end over end and slightly diagonal like pedalling a bicycle. Do this for 4-5 slow rotations ensuring to loosen the cap every so often to release pressure then allow it to separate. Do this process 4 times, turning over then allowing to seperate. Keep your soup in a hot water bath the entire time you're doing the pulls. On the last seperation of each pull allow it to seperate and sit for at least 10min. Once you've got all your pulls together, evaporate the excess solvent with a fan until the volume is reduced to the point where you see it turn cloudy. Sometimes it doesn't go cloudy but as long as your pulls were done properly you should see good results from your extraction. Layer of taught foil over the dish, lids on top if you have them or just place a heavy book on top. 48hrs freeze should be plenty of time for the majority of dmt to crash out. Be careful not to get any water in your dish along with the saturated solvent. This will reduce water ice crystals forming with the dmt that may melt and cause the dmt to unstick and drop to the bottom of the dish

yes. the freezer is super cold. we followed nomans tek to the letter but added the SC + 2 water baths. i don't think i want to try this tek again. i want something that i can follow step by step, that details everything.

thanks for the reply. im going to look into another tek. i don't want to have to keep asking people for advice lol.

asking for advice is okay, :) the people here are wonderful and want each other to succeed - maybe one day you will find yourself giving the advice once you're more familiar :D keep at it! You're bound to succeed with one of the teks
