it depends on quality but you can get 25 to 36 grams easy i have gotten up to 50 before like i said it all comes down to quality and no never tried soaking that ive noticed when it is super fresh its best like right after we finish trimming the next day we hash so that we are using freshest shit deffinatly plays a huge roll

That is a great yield from trimmings. I've heard people say that the butane soak using ice cold butane in an insulated flask like a Dewar's Flask gives slightly more yield than the drip down method, but I have no direct evidence of this. I do know that an insulated flask will allow one to keep the herb soaking in the cold liquid butane for hours. Allows for a lot of herb to be done all at once as well. Keep up the great work.

I was curious if say you had cannabis testing at 10% (example),
would a pound would yield ~45g - maybe more accounting for impurites?

We always guessed that if our flowers tested at 20to 24%that the trimmings where atleazt twelve percent thc so maybe you could get that yield also flowers have more THC by weight than trimmings so if your using flower it automatically increases yield but not by alot or at all always like I said quality really determines you will prolly ge an ounce of wax from ten percent trimmings realistically speaking


Pound of flowers may yield 45 grams depends on quality but you prolly will if done right


also I have read people being uncomfortable of butane fumes well the answer to that is bubble hash all it is is water and cannabis and ice if you want info on that just ask bubble has is cleaner but you yield like four or five diff qualities in which only two are that great the rest or very chalky like street hashish
