I just wanna know if I've got this right before trying it.

Should I use San Pedro cacti or Trichocereus bridgesii?

1. Boil cacti in acidic water (is Hcl acid ok?) solution for 20min, separate liquid 3x, discard plat material

2. De-fat with xylene, (is naphtha ok? or is xylene just more cost efficient?) pH4 3/4x

3. Basify to pH 10+ with lye (how long should I let the lye mix sit?)

4. Extraction of Free Bases with xylene (or naphtha?) 3/4x

To avoid extra oils
5. Salt Formation and Extraction with a Hcl acid water solution 3/4x

6. Evaporate

Am I on the right track?

1. Boil cacti in acidic water (is Hcl acid ok?) solution for 20min, separate liquid 3x, discard plat material----no acid is needed if your water is nuetral or slightly acidic

2. De-fat with xylene, (is naphtha ok? or is xylene just more cost efficient?) pH4 3/4x--- you get little from a de-fat, waste of time and chems

3. Basify to pH 10+ with lye (how long should I let the lye mix sit?)---- ph 13-14. let sit until the mix turns a darker color, and the solution loses its viscosity, 12-48hrs

4. Extraction of Free Bases with xylene (or naphtha?) 3/4x----xylene

To avoid extra oils
5. Salt Formation and Extraction with a Hcl acid water solution 3/4x--yeah, that'll work, or try just using as much acid as is needed, an extra amount leads to dirty material, google titration mit videos

6. Evaporate-- sure

Ya doesnt matter which cacti you use, pachanois have less thorns to deal with. Should use a small quantity of acid in boiling. Defatting is pretty unnecessary with cacti, unlike dmt. Toluene is also a solvent possibility for pulling freebase along with xylene. Hope this helps.
