quick recrystallization questions

SWIM just attempted a recrystallization on some brown spice pulled from this tek

SWIM believes that in the recrystallization process he added too much naphtha to redissolve the spice and little to no crystals are forming. Can SWIM fix this by simply letting some of the naphtha evap and reduce down a bit to concentrate it a bit more? Or is there something else?

Also I've seen after adding the hot solvent and letting the spice dissolve people say to let sit at room temp for a few hours for crystals to start forming and then place the container into the freezer. But then I've also heard of people just throwing it into the freezer right away after dissolving and separating the spice.

Can somebody shed some light on which is the correct way for this type of tek?

Welcome to the nexus

You should have used about 40ml/gr DMT. If you have too much solvent then just evap some of it. Let it sit at room temp for a few hours, then into the fridge for a few more then into the freezer.

you also want to decant the room temperature naptha into a new container to get rid of the gunk.
