'Quidding' dried cactus powder

Might seem silly, but just thought about it after experiencing much GI discomfort from cacti. I have a foot of powdered t.bridgesii monstrousum inner skin. Anyone ever done it?
I assume saliva might not be adequate to dissolve the material.. but maybe I am wrong.

You've gotta be quidding, err kidding, right! -Even if it did work, which i strongly doubt,there would be so little mescaline in the amount used it would be pretty pointless and you would need so much to have effect that it would be far more of an awful drawn out experience than simply glugging down the stuff like most people do. It's really not that bad once you pinch your nose.

-To be honest i think that if you are serious about cactus, then getting it down is the least of your concerns.

Yeah I really don't see anyone keeping the cactus powder in their mouths for longer than 10 seconds. And the fact that you have to eat a minimum of say 20grams of dry powder means A LOT of quidding.

I would definitley be gagging if the powder was in my mouth for longer than 5 seconds or so.

Yeah I feel you. I don't think I was really planning on quidding it anyway. Just looking at alternate routes to avoid the cramping. Last time I ate San Pedro resin, I found myself on the floor in pain for a good few hours, the pain would get worse with my heartbeat. I didn't feel nauseous, because I didn't feel like vomiting, and I tried vomiting, and couldn't (maybe I should have tried harder).

Maybe I will space out the dry powder over and hour or so and just lie down for the first couple hours to let it settle as mew suggested in a past thread.
20 grams huh? I ate a couple-inch strip of my cactis inner skin and got a definite head change that day, so I wonder what a foot of my cacti will be like... I'm sure the amount of powder I have is not 20 grams.

I suppose I should go with an extraction, just wanted to see if I could achieve a powerful full-spectrum experience first.

The best advice i can give is this,on an empty stomach do some exercise, walking might be enough,but do some abs exercises, then have a bath to relax before injesting. Take some root ginger tea for anti nausea, Mix the powder with warm water and some lemon juice, shake it up, then chug it down. You should find that thanks to the exercise that it gets absorbed much better as if it's a food, so there's less chance of cramping etc. Better would be to simmer it for say 20-30 mins, then allow to cool before drinking. It's really that easy.8)

i applaud your enthusiasm but

its a terrible idea

t bridgesii var monstrosse is the most potent, try a different preparation technique if you have severe gi irritation,

try powdering the outter 5mm of green flesh (after dehydrating of course) and rehydrating with minimal liquid to make a paste ball small enough to swallow whole, fast for 12-18 hours then (no carbs in drinks aswell) consume with less than 4 oz of carb free drink, lay on your back for 2 hours, you should be fine within your third hour.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will let you know how it goes. And mew, I actually followed your technique of powdering the green flesh earlier, and I now have the powder. Definitely a blessing to have access to such a potent cacti, the succulent store that I got it from has a few more as well that I am sure I will purchase. Much appreciation friends

Sounds like a very bitter ordeal. Seems like you're going to have to quid a heck of
alot of cactus powder just to achieve only a moderate depth experience.

dont quote me, but i think mescaline is best processed through your gi tract
smoking or sublingual doesn't work so well
(tastes bad/harsh on lungs)
(and who wants to snort a half gram of any material?)
