Raw opium?!!

First of all i know we generally don´t discuss these kinds of drugs here and sorry if this is way offline.

Warning:

Opium and all opiates are physically addicting and should be used with extreme caution, never ever binge on opiates or even use them somewhat frequently.

Dying from an overdose is very real and also the risc of contamination from shady dealers are big




Anyway a friend of mine gave me a gram of his home made raw opium, i have never done any opiates except kratom a few times and i don´t plan to either.

But since i got this little chunk here i might as well see what it´s about, since it´s a natural compound and not some lab made pill i feel that i can´t loose too much by trying it a few times.

I will most likely never get my hands on opium again so addiction seems far away form smoking just a gram of it.

So what is the best roa? do i need to vape it or could i mix it with some hash and smoke?

I agree that O is great the day after any exhausting psychedelic experience. I love coming home to some O after a long tripped out festival, for example.


Too much hash or weed into the mix and the high can become slightly agitated, for me, and really detracts from the O experience. A little teensy bit can be very good however.

Just start with a small amount pressed into a disc and work your way up. Yes, a pipe works fine.

I've only ever smoked it on the acid comedown and it was just heavenly.

Cannabis and O go together nicely. They potentiate each other. Just start small and work your way up. Sometimes you enter cartoon time where everything starts to look a bit like cartoons, the color and shape of your environment and people look different, cartoon like and otherworldly. Report your experiences once you've tried.

Okay soooooo, You could smoke it in a pipe as you describe. I have smoked it a couple hundred times easily and the way its normally done in a circle of people, is with a hot knife and a hanger, use a blow torch to heat the knife up, put a small ball of the opium on the end of the hanger wire. You could also use glass paddles used for hot knifing. I wouldnt use it in a pipe because of how thin it gets when it is heated and then how it turns to glass when it cools. A pipe IMO is not a great choice for this. You'll figure it out.

How much should i use?

If you dont have much experience with it, it's gonna take a bit. take a pea sized piece and put it on your hanger wire use this wire to manipulte it on your hot knife.
I would take at least a dozen good heavy tokes. As you master the administration technique you'll get the hang of it and then a dozen tokes will take you to new highs new levels.

I wouldnt mix it with anything. Opium straight up.

Yeah, I wouldnt smoke it in a pipe. Most of the time I smoked it, it was out of some tinfoil. I know it sounds terrible, but I found it's the best way.
Tea could be an alternative. When I was in Egypt, I drunk some and it gave me the strongest visions I ever got from it. Although I was the only one out of six people who didn't puke
Or you could go for the back entrance... I heard that it's the best way and it doesnt give nausea or whatsoever.

Drive a small nail or needle through a coke bottle top, Put the opium on the Nail/needle, light cover with a glass, the flame goes out and fills the glass/jar with smoke, inhale from the bottom of the glass with a pen tube.

My opium smoking days are long since through however.

I wouldn't try ingesting any orally if you haven't any experience with opiates. Taking to much can make you violently ill, little more than that can be a serious problem. Smoke it little by little, it is easy to go further than you expect, you might think you have a good buzz then all the sudden you really feel it.

I'm with Toadfreak on using caution about oral or tea ingestion. One time I grew a bunch of poppies, scored the pods and collected the latex, and made tea. And it's about the sickest I have ever gotten from ingesting anything -- in three decades of experimentation that was probably my roughest day. I was shivering, nauseous, could not get warm, was unable to get off the couch, and my wife was watching me carefully and considering a trip to the ER. Pulled out of it but it was NOT fun.

vaporizing small ammounts, like 1/4 of a pea in size, use hot metal or glass paddlees to do it. Use a blow torch to heat up your implements. When I have done it we used a bong every time. I'ts better/easier when its a two person operation, IME

Just get the server to work the material with hot implements right over the bowl or stem of the bong. Its not rocket science.

Also don't expect it to be an activity enhancer like weed. Just lay down, turn off the lights, put on some slow music or ambient sounds, and let it take you to warm, happy hypnogogia.8)

If I ever had raw opium I'd like to make laundanum, it's just an alcoholic extract of opium and it was 'en vogue' in the 19th century artistic 'milieu', you can take
a few drops sublingually and the nausea should be kept at bay with this ROA

Hot knifing seem to be the prefered method then, or maybe i could stick it on a pin and heat it with a knife or similar then try to "chase the dragon" with a tube or similar?

laudanum has some herbs add to it to increase potency, also knwo that alcohol makes it stronger, so be careful with dosage.
As a side note, we know opium is an opiate, and is VERY addictive, and also overdose are deadly so this is a very UNSAFE plant extract to use.

Good points rom, extreme caution will be used when trying out this extract since i have no idea how potent it could be.

The guy who gave it too me is not a daily user but has his fair share of opium experience and he said this was a very fine extract.

So a gram could be very very strong and i will probably start with less than 0,1 and just do it one toke a time.
