Re-dissolved DMT into naphtha, as in, I cleaned my GVG

Migrated topic.

I've been spending hours and hours here researching and I'm sure this has been asked but I must be too close to the forest to see the trees. Or something like that.

So before I waste anything I will ask for help.

I got my brand new GVG and stacked screen after screen and loaded up and melted multiple attempts/doses straight onto the glass in the tubing.

I'm aware corrective action is called for. I've found good suggestions here, so I'll try to exclude that particular discussion for now.

In my infinite wisdom, I used hot naphtha to recover my spice. So now I've got a refrigerated jar of cloudy naphtha.

Is it as simple as just freeze-precipitating this naphtha? Or do I need to get the spice back into salt state? Or...?

I really appreciate all the help and guidance I've gleaned from you wonderful folks, and I hope you can bail me out, on this one.

Thanks.

If everything is entirely dissolved in the naphtha, you could proceed with freeze precipitation. Otherwise, you should warm it up and filter out any particulate before freeze precipitation.

Ideally, you would run this through an A/B process as this will be much cleaner, but this all depends on how dirty the wash is, how clean you want your product, and how much effort you are willing to put forth.

Thank you so much for taking the time, syberdelic.
I appreciate it.
I will heed your advice, and put it through an A/B process, as I've not done one of those. I extract my product by following Cyb's Max Ion ATB Tek, so an A/B should be a good exercise for me.
Thanks again.

After migrating the DMT to acidic solution, treat the naphtha that it just migrated from as a defatting solution and remove it from the process. This will help in cleaning.

Thank you again, syberdelic.

I completed the A/B and scraped my freeze pre-cip, and got everything back, nice and clean.
