So I've been letting my mixture dry out for the past 4 days; I've had unsuccesful pulls with q21q21's tek #2 w/ naphtha. The first pull (200 ml of naphtha)I had the mixture way too dry, and the second pull (125 ml of naphtha) it was too moist. I believe it's nearly ready. Is this the consistency I should be looking for when ready to pull with q21q21's tek using naphtha?

I mixed it using a medium size glass cookie jar from walmart. I transferred it to this stainless steel bowl to increase the surface area so that the naphtha would evaporate out faster; the bowl was on top of my fridge in my kitchen with the windows open for ample ventilation.

1st pic: with desk light over bowl
2nd pic: without desk light

The pictures above were taken right after stirring the mix around a little bit with bamboo chopsticks. As you can see, there are a number of small ball crumbles but the consistency is very thin/fine. It doesn't feel that moist at all, but it's far too fine to be "crumbly like an apple crisp" (which is what q21q21's consistency #2 describes the consistency should be before pulling).

Also, I'm confused when looking at the pics. How much naphtha is in the precip containers. The pics look like you already poured out the naphtha.
In both pictures, the naphtha is in the bottom right corner, but my phone's camera just didn't pick it up, so you can't see it. There wasn't very much, guessing due to solvent loss.

Okay, I have the container on its side with a fan blowing near it. It's been 3 hours and all white patches and dots that I thought was dmt is all gone. The whole container is clear of white and only clear liquids are present (which I'm assuming is all just melted ice). Nevertheless, I'll wait 24 hours and see what I got then. Starting to wonder if my bark powder was real or not.

I hear you man. It sounds like you're going through something similar as me right now. I finished my first extraction last week, but haven't been able to determine if it has DMT or not. I used an A/B tek with naphtha to extract Acacia mearnsii, which is a rather dubious species, but locally available.

Now I'm doing another extract on the same A. mearnsii bark powder, but I'm using Bestine this time. Bestine evaporates waaay faster than naphtha, so I was surprised to see most of the liquid from the first pull gone. The little liquid that remained did not look cloudy. It's still too early to tell, but I have strong doubts about A. mearnsii.

I'm assuming you used Mimosa hostilis root bark for your experiment? Since that's pretty much gone by now, I wouldn't be surprised if someone started selling bark from other trees, and labelled it as Mimosa hostilis. I have no idea if that's what happened to you, I'm just saying it's something to watch out for nowadays.

Yeah I used mimosa hostilis. There's no way of telling who's legitimate until you buy some mhrb yourself, which I did.

The place I bought it from had this as their description, convincing enough for me... but then again I was just happy enough to find bark:
"Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark Powder is from a small family owned sustainable farm and is very well know for its quality being probably one of the best strains of Mimosa in the world.

This Mimosa Hostilis is sold for the entheobotanical collector and not sold for consumption. In countries where consumption is allowed it has been reported that its quality is of Grade A
."

Ok, so it's official. It's been 24 hours since taking the precip container out of the freezer and there's not a spec of white in the container.

this means I purchased false mhrb right?

is there anything? any residue at all?
no, I tried scraped around but nothing came of it. :\ I have other bark sources tho.

I just checked the site I had bought from, it's no longer up, saying it doesn't accept customers from my region (U.S.) even though they were located in L.A. I know we're not supposed to talk about suppliers so I'll keep it at that.
