Hi I saw a thread a looong time ago on the nexus that detailed some good methods for re-x but i cant seem to find it now. I have a bunch of freebase dmt that has over time degraded or converted to oxide or something and now is quite crap compared to its original form. I am interested in getting some of it cleaned up into those nice big fat crystal shards I saw in the 'just some xtals' thread. can anyone detail a good method (or link to one) for doing this?

Not really addressing your question but how did you store it and how long for? There have been some interesting threads on DMT storage and I think this would be useful info. I think I saw something about oxide not being soluble in naptha so this might have implications for re-x. Typing this on phone on commute home so can't check right now so don't take it as gospel!
in the future store your DMT as a fumerate salt.
stored as freebase in well sealed vial. put that in a ziploc with dessicant and that in another ziploc with tape over the seal then threw it in the freezer. i wasnt able to pull all the O2 out prior to this so it stayed in there. I thought the FB would be ok long term but i guess not. it has been there close to a year now. guess I will convert to salt, i was unaware that that was a better method but it makes sense.
