Reprogramming

So im new to the dmt experience im working with my second batch from a friend and ive had some seriously odd experiences. I was hoping to see of it's normal or abnormal experience.

So pretty much everytime im shown flashing images. Of what im not sure sometimes its like code other times its something else. It feels like im being reprogrammed or brainwashed. I know it sounds insane. There's also a shadow everytime I can see out of the corner of my eye hovering over me. Its feeling like its emitting some kind of radio waves or frequency and causes me to start overheating. No white room no aliens just flashing images.... and a cartoon looking dude that really wants me to pay attention to the flashing images.

Hi slaydogg,

Yeah, that all sounds VERY DMT. It's a weird experience and part of the experience can be what I call "cognitive hallucinations," where the mind kind of gets broken down and thinking/perceiving very differently than when sober.

Although there are some themes, there really is no "typical" DMT trip. So your feelings of being reprogrammed, your shadows, your cartoon entity wanting you to pay attention are not at all unusual.

I find it interesting that you feel a frequency emitted by a shadow being causes you to overheat. I presume you mean physically overheat, like a hot flash . . . Personally I pretty much get corpse cold with DMT, but some folks have reported feeling warm or overheated.

Please make sure to take lots of time to integrate this material before using again. You wrote only a few sentences but clearly your experiences have been massively packed and will take awhile to fully unpack. I would recommend journalling.

All of this is just my opinions/dogma.

Thank you so much for sharing.

No doubt it is the weirdest thing. I ran once from a digital monster that was trying to delete me and my reality. I see now though I think it was an opportunity to face my ego let go and I just wasnt ready

Yep, I have a Document on my computer I get it ready before a session and give it a date and list details about the set up, then straight after while I can still feel the tail end of the effects I write down everything I can remember, it can sometimes take a while to remember so keep going back to it as new things are come to mind.
I nearly always start out being pretty cold but after an hour or so of dipping in and out of the space I end up being a sweaty mess!

You can slow down the images by using harmalas orally as you trip.

I find this very helpful, it also smoothes the entry (come up) and extends the experience. Since first trying it with harmalas I've never gone back to having DMT by itself.

The only caution I would add is that it means your in the DMT space for longer, which is great when it's good but sometimes not so good if it's very challenging for you...

Thank you for the advice. Ive been doing other mind expanding substances for decades but this well i dont have to tell you all its in a class of its own. So yea gonna take a break do some shadow work try to integrate the experiences. Then maybe ill try again ans when i do ill use your suggestion to slow things down because at the end of the day even though terrifying as the last few have been I still feel there's something I need to learn and i am curious to return.

Also sounds like a way I felt on my first one.
Had to really sit down write everything I remember in no order and then sort it chronological and after that I was able to find some sense....

With the next I found it helped a lot to be more focusing on what will happen and not expect anything and calm down before smoke. Best some meditation....

Yeah, expectations usually lead nowhere and only create problems. You need to be as relaxed as possible and open to the experience. It is fine to set an intention beforehand, but it should be set and forget. Have faith in the process - set your intention and let everything go. That way, you will be more receptive to whatever you experience and can get the most out of it, ime.
