I had a dream that this guy was soaking mhrb in 99% iso alcohol for some time with he intent for aya. He then decided to go the pharma way to avoid the purging. Though the purging is great its just not the experience he wanted this time. He began to wonder, is the ph level so high in a normal dmt extraction to aid in breaking up the plant material releasing more dmt and free basing.. Is that ph really necessary to free base it. He was wondering since most of the dmt acetate with dissolved in the alcohol at this point would dumping a bunch of baking soda in be enough to free base it and ready it for non polar extraction? Baking soda has a Ph of around 9
