Hi everyone,
I thought I'd update you on my DMT abstinence .
If any one remembers I had no CEV's for a month. Bare in mind was a daily Changa smoker (rizla/Mullein method).
So after a 2 week break , I felt this wasn't a case of waiting for "The Calling" but a case of changing my habits . Showing the mighty Changa a bit more respect and not to over indulge with daily usage.
By the way, the 2 week break was needed, I took some Melatonin for a week every night and had some of the most solid sleep I've ever had, waking up feeling excellent and totally rested.I could tell my brain needed a rest and I had a great fortnight overall.

When I started smoking again I was in for some treats, CEV wise and bliss wise.
I've since moved onto my new bong (I will post a picture "everyone should own one of these" )
Experimenting with the bong is great. The 2.2.2 Changa in a bong is maybe too much Harmala for me. But the 2.2.1 Changa mixed with a bit of Mullein , taken in small amounts building up, is some thing special .
Going from zero to hero indoors isn't for me
I did hit 75 mg in one hit and got a bit scared when the music started to disappear.
Outdoors I'm fine ,vape ahoy!
My new regime is maybe a joint during the week if the stars are aligned but on a Saturday or a Sunday I will have a bong session .
Its all good .
The best to you all

Yep, MAOI & DMT mess with sleep big time.

See my thread:

Tops for the restraint, sometimes we forget how much time we have on the earth and feel an impetuous drive to slam down hardcore sessions again and again when the unconscious processes might infact really need a bit of "rehabilitation" or "resetting"

Not to mention DMT has been rated of having an addiction potential of Codeine, Mescaline & Methadone.

Harmalas mess with sleep... no doubt.
I like how you give a major/minor and patch release number for your Changa haha /programmer :P

Really interesting . I have definitely become a more impulsive person. I meet a lot of different people on a daily basis through my job and having always been fairly quiet and restrained in social situations I now have become more open and impulsive and its a real positive for me.

I don't know about DMT being addictive though. I am happy to go without now, because I know what is to come or what's waiting for me.

Knowing when to put it away is just as important as knowing when to use. We all go through things in our life. It's subtle most of the time. But if you've ever been in a very poor state of mind...or a place that you don't want to be...those feelings will rear their heads inside of the experience and it will become very obvious to you. The come up is usually where you see this in detail. The actual process itself puts a bad taste in your mouth and you don't want to do it again, because it brings back all that stuff to the surface. So what you do is put it away. Maybe even forget about it for a while. Because as much as I like to believe that doing it every day for 2 weeks will hamper the experience, I've been in certain positive moods where doing it every day was possible for a week or two. But we need to be patient with ourselves. The experience, for me anyway, is a tool. I hold respect and love for that tool, but need to remember sometimes that it's not always the best tool for the job.

Some one in a past thread said to me that its like surfing , you have to wait for the wave , when it comes ride it:)
That is so true.

I can definitely relate, despite my meager experience. I feel like I want to do it every day, but for some reason, I don't. I feel it when I'm ready to go, I also feel it when I'm not, and I'm not trying to force it. Set & Setting

I'm always smoalking in the same setting .
I'm sure it comes in cycles . I just partook and witnessed amazing God Code attached to objects , fluorescent blues, oranges, yellows.
I was thinking, "how could I describe this to people"?
Truly amazing . I know if I had smoked a bit more everything would have changed to high definition plastic but I have to cook etc. , I have work early tomorrow . I just pray the wave is still here for the weekend when I can bong ahoy and take it further .
I feel so appreciative :)

can i recommend something i've done with psychedelic integration? my big thing about the integration step into proccessing a generally powerful and humbling experience is to communicate with what you've experienced through creating other experiences like an innovation or creation that is either created by the conscious self, the subconscious self, or the hyper aware self; all of which i believe are very real spaces within the natural mind and i believe for some people that they naturally have "different" minds that are similar to a sort of "genetic meditation" type ordeal over the period of their life. i know that when i was younger i was generally more enlightened than the adults and the only part i had to take the time to master was standing up to the forces out of my control, facing them, and communicating and trying to accept them as parts of life.

i also find that through relying on multiple techniques of integration and getting creative with integrating the experiences that i've had with psychedelics will highly affect the experience. such as reaching areas of the mental, emotional, or spiritual space that you've created. the way i see it is that the universe is like a mix between a dark blackness, a program, a light source, a storyline, a clock that shall tick through it's numbers thousands of times over and over again, and the intricacies between a height and a low.

for me; i've found in general it isn't just about respecting the psychedelic but instead accepting it for who it is and accepting yourself as well as the experience you gave yourself or had shared unto you through forces you may or may not understand; but this is just my opinion on general psychedelia and i'm a novice experiencer; which is why i've come to the website simply to learn; and perhaps to share what i can and such, though i'm working on sharing in better fashions that others can understand and read better.

but anyways; i do wish you luck deltaspice :) may your preparation, experience, and integration not only change the lives around you but also the lives within you. and i hope that as i explore DMT that i can face death; and accept my death and that of others. the only thing i will refuse under all odds is to leave someone's memory dead or to let an alive person die in anyway; inside or out.

anyways; 😁 it sounds like you're having a good bit of control and i admire that. also i think that there are two spaces; within and without. the set; and the setting. space and time; etc

For the record, here is the "quoted" Wikipedia section:
Addictive potential

A review of studies on ritual users of the DMT-containing brew Ayahuasca concluded that: "A decoction of DMT and harmala alkaloids used in religious ceremonies has a safety margin comparable to codeine, mescaline or methadone. The dependence potential of oral DMT and the risk of sustained psychological disturbance are minimal." [108]
They are concluding that Ayahuasca is LOW risk for dependency and psychological disturbance.

We have come to expect mass media to misrepresent our sacraments (among other things)...

There is no place for it here.
