ronsonol lighter fluid?

Is this ok to use instead of nap? I have some and did a small test evap, it drys clean with no film.

Yeah its safe to use. Several people use ronsonol for extractions.

Just didn't know if it was diluted or had certain unwanted additives. So the only difference is the name and price? What is VM&P Nap vs. Nap? Does Rosonol fall under the VM&P Nap?

From what i know, ronsonol is very close to being pure naphtha, i think its like 98% but im not sure of that, but it is fine to use. I can't comment on the VM&P naphtha because its not available in my country and i don't know a great deal about it

Ronsonol is not pure, any zippo collector will tell you that. If you can get zippo brand its better. But vm&p is best

Its fine to use...but if you see a can of Swan...get that...its cleaner.

Ronsonol lighter fluid is >99% SOLVENT NAPHTHA (PETROLEUM)

read up on the MSDS on ronsonol and from what it says its 95% light naptha. leaves a very clean final product
