Looks like harmless C9 hydrocarbons that don't evaporate. Convert your freebase into fumarate and dissolve it in water. Siphon off the oily layer and evaporate the water. :thumb_up:
Edit: the C9 hydrocarbons might even dissolve in the acetone during the FASA step, so alot of it is already washed.

You can use it with an A/B tek and a FASA tek. Wash the fumarate with water at the end (the paraffins won't dissolve in water and will swim at the top). Or switch to D-limonene.
Basically follow the DMT Handbook (don't mix Naphta with plastic, always use glass) or Cyb's tek, then DMT FB to fumarate via the FASA tek, once you've obtained the DMT fumarate, dissolve it in water and siphon off the paraffins. Let the water evaporate. Tada!

I find this interesting as a couple months back I did an evap test with Rosonol and it came up clean....now I am feeling sketched out about using it.....
I'm about to buy some heptane or petroleum ether 40 - 80 instead only got a few cans of ronsonol left, which would i be best off getting, never done the fasa or worked with D-limonene, I do cybs/earthwalkers tek and been successful so don't really want to change. Thanks

Yw. They both work, so it's a personal preference. Read both and decide for yourself. Some materials are more accessible in different countries, so that's a criteria, too.sbc1 said:

Just to say, if you wish to use petroleum ether sometimes, use 40-60 °C. It works like a charm, I know because I'm still using it with great results.

I'm sorry, I meant Pentane (C5), not Heptane (C7). But the 40/60 PE still looks like the better deal due to the low BP (lower = better), so the initial eBay url is still valid. You want a C5-C6 mixture like PE, which BP is 40-60°C at the max. Otherwise you will have C7 hydrocarbons that don't evaporate. Your room temperature is max. 30°C and the BP of DMT fb is 45°C. Just do the math and don't forget to read the MSDS and specifications of the solvents:
