Rue extraction with Manszke! burnt the chrysalis in oven!!??

Migrated topic.

Hi..
swim was just about doing an extraction with 200gr of rue seeds..
he cooked them 5 times with water with vinegar, and then took a long time for filtering..
he did like 10 filterings before he started using lye to the freebased harmalas..

he then did a Manske which appeared rather dirty, but at least something precipitated..
the first pics show the stuff that has been caught in the coffefilter, and the rest of the pics were some chrysalis in water on a plate, which he wanted to just lightly dry a bit faster.. but he forgot about them and suddenly noticed he left them in the oven at 85 °C for couple of hours.. so the look pretty much burnt, but still crystallized…

my question would be now, is the anything i can use the burnt crystals further on, or can i throw them away, which would be a PITA, as SWIM really spent lots of time in filtering..

here are the pix. the first are the normally dried Manszeke and the last 2 ones show the one from the oven..
Can they be saved in any way?? redissolving, etc... in an extra step, and do a manszske again??

so, here the pix

I doubt harmalas burned at 85°C because the BP is higher (174°C for harmaline) so, yes, the best is to redissolve in acid water, filter and base to see what's gona precipitate (harmalas freebase)

Thx for reply..
yeah, swim already based the rest of the tea that was left over from Manske, with good result..
so he should try your advice… in how much water would you dissolve like 4-5gr of that??
