salt max ion vs regular ion no salt, STB

Ok so I have come across a thing here
I stb'd once without salt and the taste of the resulting spice was like burny alkaloid flavor and came out white white white, using a freeze precip
the evap was orangey yellow, and has a much crazier effect

NOW when I did the salt style by pouring salt in my based soup the freeze did not precip and crashing xtals
and the evap is much darker and taste like salt

I havent used the salty stuff yet because im a little waery on vaporizing sodium chloride
what do you guys think, and did i do it wrong orrrrr

Sodium chloride itself wouldn't really be so much of an issue, the problem is that if you have salt in your product you likely had water and thus also lye and other impurities in your pulls that you evaporated all of which are now in your product.

I should think a recrystallization would be prudent.

Re x yes thank you, I ended up doing just that on most of it except my last pull which was just like, i didnt even care about it at that point, I start with lots of enthusiasm but towards the end of the process once i have achieved the mass of the treasure over the course of a week\
i lose interest and get lazy, im sure im not the only one
